Effective teaching is the action of teachers
getting a comprehensive and lasting development of each student, more than
would be expected, given their previous performance and the social, economic
and cultural situation of their families.
This concept responds to a complex multidimensional view of the student, the teacher, the classroom, the school and the environment as an all interrelated pursued one goal: achieving maximum and complete development of all students
Thus, it
has as basic elements:

Stressing how important is the socio-emotional development as cognitive or
psychomotor. If the goal of education is the full development of the

2. Equity. A teaching will be effective if it
promotes the development of each and every student.
3. Durability of the effects. What is effective teaching to the extent that its beneficial effects go beyond this course or that stage. Last a lifetime.
4. Value added. Effective teaching is not
measured by learning, measured by the amount of learning that has been provided
